SAT Nav to DVD Modification (1 Viewer)

I have heard that it is possible to convert the sat nav system to play DVD's. Can anyone confirm or deny this? Has it been achieved? If so are there any web sites I can visit to get instructions.

What year is your LX/LC? I know that at least with the 04 and up you just place a DVD in the changer and you can view it (while parked). Here's some further info related to this:
