FYI: Sam Cothrun, SAMCO Fabrication is hosting an open house at their new facility at 862 Watson Way, Sparks on Saturday November 1, 2008.

They will have a BBQ and prize drawings throughout the day.

Just an FYI for those that might be interested.

You have to understand...As a 60 series owner, I SQUEEK when I open my wallet, so ANYTHING (except Harbor Freight stuff) is too expensive!:D

My HF dead blow hammer is holding up pretty well.

But have you used it?

I have to admit: I haven't broken my HF dead blow either, nor my seal installation kit from HF...yet .

Ive gotten quite a few items from there that have done well. Some, not so. But the stuff is SOOOOO INEXPENSIVE for the most part...and they take most everything back regardless of condition.

Again...I SQUEEK, what can I say;p

Just giv'n ya shyte Keith :D.

Ummm BBQ.
I bet he has some pretty good prizes too.

There will be a $350 driveline credit from Bayshore Truck (they are right in front of Sam's new shop) and a new 16" Stihl chainsaw from Sierra Small Engine Repair (the owner of the business owns the yellow FJ40 that Sam built). I wish I was in town, it should be a good time. The new shop is HUGE, I am glad to see Sam doing so well with his business.

The thing with HF is the quality is very inconsistent. I went through three 4" angle grinders in as many weeks, but the last one they gave me has been working fine for years now. It seems like their stuff either works fine or breaks the first time you use it.

Glad to see Frank from Sierra Repair is staying involved.

For all those that didn't get to go, there was some good food and a nice turnout of people.

And he really had the shop in quicksilver form! Polished floors, everything was tidy, clean and neat...he and his staff put some serious time into that!

And as you stated Jon I was surprised by the good turnout!
