I thought it would give some people a viagra moment. We are shipping containers from South Africa, so we can include stuff from there. Catch is the exchange rate for R/$ is not that good right now, so the stuff is not really bargains.

1 US Dollar(s) = 6.729 South African Rand(s)

So what is some of this stuff going for?

USD sucks just about everywhere but canada right now ;)

It all depends. I prices some stuff when I was there and used parts were not much cheaper than what new stuff was in the US. That is for stuff you can find locally. LC's are very expensive down there, thus the market for a well run junk yard. They have relatively cheap labor and can spend the money to strip the vehicles completely down to the last bolt, catagorize and then sell. They are pretty effecient. Last year it was R13/$ so it would have been much better to buy it then.
