Well were is my question:
About 2 year ago I installed a 2.5 BDS lift kit on my HJ60. After installed I noticed the left front corner is down 1 inch. So I contact my local 4x4 shop were I made the purchase and they said "O" well. So I'm looking at this truck and it is driving me nuts. It's leans and looks tired. So I thought I had a bad spring went out and purchased a set of OME heavy duty springs "diesel motor in the front ok". Truck is still leaning. I'm ready to f#@!en explode. Searching the net and ran across OME rear springs that are labeled A drivers and B passenger. Is this to compensated the sag?? Please help......

swap front springs....Also you might need to add a leaf (from ARB) to them to make them ex heavy duty for the diesel motor

Its not for the sag,its more to compensate for the driver's weight. Most brands are labelled A,B or L,R or 1,2.

There were also shims from the dealer to pack between axle and spring plate.

LHD models seem to have more problems with sag than RHD models.
I often look at aussie 60 series and find it hard to find one sagging.(mainly those that have been to hell and back)
They often use the same suspension kits so I wonder if the 60 prefers to be driven on the left side of the road?

So when you say add an extra leaf it's the arb add a leaf to one side correct
Front H/D Extra Leaf

Priced Individually.
Quantity needed is 2.

SUOMED1XL

$23.21
Or just add a one inch shim to the r/r corner. I guess either way works..

I have a BDS kit on my Bj60. No huge noticeable sag...... But a little is a normal on a cruiser. I think it is impossible to get it perfectly level. Just nature of the beast.

#1) the HJ motor is heavier than a 2F so you will need the added lift with the extra leaves..
#2) I am unsure which spring you used on the drivers side...Some dealers say that the #1 or A spring is intended for the drivers side.......but remember in OZ they drive on the other side of the vehicle.

I would add the leaves...remembering you will need longer pins and swap sides of springs while doing this.

But before doing anything Call Chris in Tech at ARB in Seattle..425-264-1391.

the same thing happened to me with the ome lift. but mine was in the back all i did was switch the springs around and it leveled out. i think who ever installed your lift has some thing wrong they are labeled which ones go on the front. my theory is that the ome lift is originally for rhd vehicles so just swap sides of the springs. oh i am running a 12HT, you do not need to add a leaf with the ome heavy heavy lift.

If you prefer the stink bug look...no. I lived 4 miles away from ARB and spent much time there...The spring they import for our market are targeted for the FJ version of the landcruiser here in the US. When I purchased and picked up my lift I ordered Heavy front and med. rears....she sat about 1/2" ass high. that I could live with.. Then about a month later..she was almost 1.5" ass high...Called the boys up and they sent me a set of leaves for the front....now she is level and rides great.
Just an FYI......go with what you have...but remember the post when the stink bug sneaks up

Thanks for the help. I ordered a set of ARB H/D add a leafs. I will start with that and then shim the rear if I have to.
Thanks very much for all the advise. Will post a pic..
over...

You could also go for the saggin wagon look.

Picture 1 was the "custom" Alcan junk - round #1 before it even left the shop. Picture #2 is back to the old OME suspension with 1 added leaf up front and two added in the rear. I'm still looking for about 1-1.5 inches more in the rear. Air bags, or Chevy springs, but haven't gotten there yet. Bob
