I sadly have to report that my LC 80 has now been sold. 😪 Given my health issues I knew it was only a matter of time. The new buyers are friends of good friends, so I know it is going to a good home. I hope they enjoy the unerring reliability that I have.

Thanks to all that have followed this thread for over thirteen years.

Sorry to hear that she’s gone. Glad she went to a good new home though. I hope that your health takes a turn for the better!

Sorry to hear that Dave.

I hope you have other things to continue to tinker with to keep your brain active.

Oh no…sorry to hear of your medical issues.

Thanks for contributing here. Good luck.

Thanks all, it was a bad day but hey we all need to move on.

Re keeping my brain active, you would be surprised what needs to be done to keep a slightly warmed over 200 BHP Astra Estate in good fettle, perfect for taking the 'crusties' and their cases to the airport for the pensioners weekend away. 🥴

So the modification brain has gone from making a good 80 great, to how the stop the Astra after some 'spirited' driving. :steer: 🥾 🚓 💸 ☹️

Getting old is compulsory, maturity is optional.

Many thanks all,

Regards

Dave

Sorry about that. Must admit I'm curious about what health issue would allow for spirited driving in an Astra but also prompts selling an 80.
