Just wanted to post a little something, though it comes at a very bad time of year when people are celebrating....
My wifes dad (my father in law) Warren passed away last night. He's had a rough year battling various illnesses, until last week while getting out of the car he had fallen and broken his arm. He was admitted to the VA hospital where it was discovered that he had terminal bone cancer that had spread thoughout his body.
Monday, Julie had brought him home to spend the holidays with us where we could take care of him. Unexpectedly, his condition rapidly deteriorated and He had passed between 1100 and 1230 last night.
Im happy to say that he was resting comfortbly and asleep when he passed and, though it is very sad for us, he is in a much better place as he had been in a great deal of pain and suffering for the past several months.
Some of you had the opportunity to meet Warren on a few occasions and for those of you who hadnt...he was a truly beautiful human being whom I am grateful to have had the privilage of knowing. One would be hard pressed to find a more joyful, open and giving person.
My heart BREAKS for the loss my wife and her daughters are going through.
Thanks for reading and I truly hope you all are having a good holiday!
