Guys I know swear by POR products. I have no experience. It seems that springs wear out anyway, so that one chick that was talking about it flaking off them isn't as much of an issue.

Absolutleyu no problems with R/E so far. I find it easier to use that POR, less prep work.... though POR seems sometimes to smooth itself out better.... If you put it on with a brush (which I did on areas I was just going to undercoat anyway) it seems to get a lot smoother.

Also does not react to light the way POR does. Not much savings in $$$$ though.

I have it on a Old Volvo, it's been on there a while, and no rust has recurred at all.

But, POR also is a great product. I think, all things being equal, in the end it comes down to which one is easier to use, and the RE gets the nod there.

I used Rust encapsulator on my 62, looked good for a while but showing some serious breakdown at present, It has been 2 years on a daily driver. I did the rust encapsulator then the chassis coat, I will try to post some picts.

Don't have any at work.

Thanks for the follow-up info guys. Sounds like they both work well, so now I just need to make a decision.
