TL;DR: Is there a thorough way to clean off the undercarriage after (or during) a week in snow county?
Maybe I'm being far too paranoid, but: this new-to-me truck has a spotless, rust-free undercarriage and I'm concerned about an upcoming trip to Utah, where it would almost certainly encounter some salt and brine. Normally, I plan to avoid that sort of thing, vastly preferring warm climates, dust, gravel, etc., so Fluid Film seems like it would mostly be annoying during routine maintenance (haven't used it before though).
Question is whether a about a week driving on salted/brined roads is enough to cause problems and whether there is anything I can do to prevent those. Would I be able to sufficiently clean everything or are there nooks-and-crannies that are very hard to get at? It does seem silly to treat the truck like some kind of garage queen, but I sure hate rust. Any thoughts and suggestions are most welcome. Thanks!
