Rust in cooling system, anyone ever try Thermocure?

Noticed the cooling system in my 62 is rusty water (probably due to the leaking water pump and the previous owner topping it off with only water) I was thinking of running this stuff through it to help clean things up and was wondering if anyone has used this or something similar to clean it all out before adding regular coolant/mix..

I used that or something like it on my old 60. I don't know if it helped or not because I don't have a comparison where I didn't use it. The system for me required many many flushes to get it eventually cleaned. There is a thread or two around here somewhere. If I remember correctly that stuff is pretty cheap and I figured it couldn't hurt
