rust-free mechanically solid 95-97 style in AZ. 233k miles. 4,900 Interior pics added
This 1995 is the new-style 95, meaning it is identical to a 96 and 97. 4-wheel discs, newer grille and interior FZJ80. VIN: JT3DJ81W7S0104198. Has CENTER diff lock in low (like all 95 to 97's), but does NOT HAVE front or rear lockers.
This is an Arizona (Prescott) vehicle with 233k miles, and I'm hoping to get around $4,900 for it. Not in any major hurry to sell. This has been my daily driver for about 4 years and has never failed me. I am the third owner.
Here is a link to phone photos taken today on my lunch break. Will take more soon of BIRFS, etc.

Update: I have uploaded interior pics now. Will upload BIRF, drivetrain, engine pics soon.
I believe owner #2 had the birfs redone around 200k, but you will want to look at them to give your own opinion (I'm not a master mechanic or anything). I bought the vehicle around 210k. At that time I immediately had the rear-main seal replaced (about $1k) and also had a brand new radiator and hoses installed (at the advice of another Arizona Cruiser guy who believes that's the best way to prevent head gasket issues). Additionally, the hood, roof and rear gate were sun-faded, as is common in these rust-free AZ vehicles. About a year ago I paid MAACO about $700 to have the hood, roof and rear gate re-painted in the original OEM blue.
Owner #2 took good care of the vehicle mechanically, but did leave vehicle parked outside (paint fading) and used it mostly for camping.
CONS:
-WHILE THE BODY IS 100% STRAIGHT, THIS IS NOT THE MOST COSMETICALLY CLEAN CRUISER IN THE DETAILS. The interior is all there and working (see photos) but not showroom condition (as is probably the case with many of the Cruisers listed on here).
PROS:
-beefy BFG All Terrains have a lot of tread left (though are at least a few years old)
-in great daily driver condition mechanically.
-AC is nice and cool. Heat is nice and warm.
-my commute is short, but when I have had to drive 2 hours to Phoenix, this beast can make the 6,000 ft elevation change at 80 miles per hour just fine
-has been driven daily the last four years, at roughly 4,000 miles/year (I have a short commute), so all rubber seals, etc are working well.
-while she does drink a little less than a quart per 3,000 miles, she doesn't leak any oil or fluids (at least not that I can see on my driveway)
-strong battery
Overall, this is a solid, reliable, rust-free rig that is not perfect or a show queen. It was a great STARTER 80 for me. I have since acquired a 100 for my wife. And I just got myself a clean, low mile 80 to pamper, since I hardly ever get this guy out in the woods.
This is such a solid, fun, reliable truck. Would make a great BUILD. I didn't repaint the sides because: 1. they are fairly good (not perfect), and 2. I didn't want to wince every time I went through brush on narrow trails.
I have young kids and don't get this guy in the dirt as much as he deserves.
