I am planning, for the time being, to run a powered, fused 12v DC wire from my battery through to the rear of my 2008 LX to power a fridge, and charge a bluetti inverter etc. I cannot remove my 3rd row yet because I still need it, but for now, I will just keep the connections free of the battery until I need to use it (and connect it for live power).

Anyway, I'm looking for a decent spot (battery side of course) that I can run my wires through.

I see a small portal right behind the a/c lines that might be suitable. Thoughts on this? Is it hard to access on the interior side of the vehicle under all the driver's dash mumbo jumbo? I'm wondering if there's another spot that I could run them through, I would need minimum 1 sq cm roughly (maybe 1/2x1/2 inch) room to run these lines.

I'd much prefer to do this on the battery side of my vehicle (Canadian/US spec 2008 LX570).

I'm looking for a very simple setup, I'm not super mechanically inclined, but enough to be able to simply set this up in a clean manner.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

There are nipples in the firewall designed for this. There is at least one on each side. See this thread.

Once inside you can run the wires in the door sill to the back.

I'm going to still be exploring this. The reason being was originally because my 115v AC outlet (in the rear) stopped functioning properly due to the fact that I tried to plug in my bluetti power station which requires a pure sine wave signal that is minimum 300w power. This lowly plug does not offer that. So I ended up replacing it with one out of a Pontiac Vibe (Toyota Matrix), it appears to the the same exact part, and works just fine now that it's installed. Now I can at least power my portable fridge/freezer as it only draws about 65w max power.

Still planning on installing a secondary 12V outlet (have purchased already) to charge my mobile power station while enroute.

Once I'm able to remove my 3rd row, I might explore options to tie into the higher amperage lines for a better inverter setup.

There was a guy that made some 12v adapters to plug into the 3rd row plugs to achieve this - I wonder where I could get that?
