Did you check t-case end bolts too?

No...............but since I'm feeling better lately now would be a good time to get under there and check a whole lot of "stuff".

The white city shop quoted me 4$ an INCH for heavy wall DS tubing. The lack of quality here is why i farmed my shafts to High Angle.

I've used walker several times recently - ish. He can be hot or cold with you which I didn't appreciate and when he tells you what day he will be done just add 3 weeks and expect him to give you guff everytime you call or stop by. I'm going to try this place next time.

I brought my driveline in for u joints and checking the balance to that place in white city. I thought that they did an ok job in a reasonable time. Although I think if I would have anything made I would take it to Walker for sure.

OK...so, put some miles on it today and ALL vibrations of any kind...at any speed and load are gone......except for the original significant vibration around 55-60 on the freeway. Ugh. What would you guys suggest I look for next..?? :hmm::meh:

They are brand new about 3000 miles on them.

I would say more likely than not, youre having DL vibes due to lift and non matching angles on single u-joint flanges

I watched a few videos on "phasing" and sure enough when I replaced the joints the first time did not have the joints aligned properly but this time when I greased the spline up and reassembled I was careful to get both joints in a straight line and also remembered to get everything torqued down good. I suppose I could get back under there and pull the yoke off and give it a 180* flip and reassemble to see if it makes any difference. ?? Maybe rotate the assembled shaft 90 degrees at a time to see if I find a smoother balance.

No i mean you tcase looks like this. I your diff flange probably more /.
Youre reallly only allowed about 3-5 degrees of difference before its unhappy

Take your rig to the tire shop and have them check for balance just in case if they offer that for a free service, tires can be out of round as well but still balance out. Mud on a rim can cause problems too. It sounds like you are on the right track.

This is what Aric is trying to say... These angles can be affected by any kind of suspension lift etc. You can use an angle finder and place it on the diff and transmission to compare.

Auto correct is ****ing useless. Lol

Well James understood you! ........and now I do too. o_O The OME lift has been on there for I think 4-5 years. The vibration was not immediately coincidental to the lift's install but came years later(about a year now). Something has worn since then. I thought about dropping the rear shaft and driving it in front wheel drive....and I still may but even if that eliminates the vibration it will have taken too many possible causes out of the equation at once to pinpoint the issue.

Don't suppose anyone has a 60 rear drive shaft so I could stick it in and see if it goes away??? Jesse...? In your scrap pile? At least all those other vibrations are gone and it is drivable!
