Looking for the tapered reamer from ruffstuff to drill out my steering arm.

If you've already done yours and have it laying around being useless I'd love to take it off your hands

Honestly, after owning a reamer and having reamed a lot of arms, I highly recommend just drilling out to 1" and using the tapered insert. Cheaper than the tool and I think results in a better finished product.

^^^ Agreed. I have RuffStuffs 1 tone TRE setup on my six shooter knucks and I first attempted to ream them to fit the 1 ton TRE but found it difficult and sloppy work. I took the steering arms to my local machine shop and had them drilled straight through to fit Ruff Stuffs tapered inserts. I don't think they were 1" though. BUT this process costed a few extra buck but was much cleaner and easier.

With that, if you still want to find a reamer then PM me and I will dig it up in the garage.

Wouldn't drilling through and installing inserts defeat the purpose of a tapered TRE? The taper is meant to hold things in place without loosening.

the insert is cut down the side so the taper compresses everythign to keep it tight. i when ream so i could adjust height and keep the max amount of material on the steering arm (although i've never heard of issues with that). i'm keeping my reamer for future projects

I reamed mine, went like butter. You just have to take your time, I did it by hand and used lots of cutting oil. Used layout marker to check contact patch and was as good as stock. PM me if you're interested. I'd be happy to sell it to you and send pics etc.

This makes sense why my tie rods did not fit correctly!!
