Since our previous chat was in the member section and not all can see I wanted to post here.

I have the time off approved. Still debating taking my truck or not depending.

What's our departure plan? what days/run?

Sounds like there is some peoples coming from the north that would like to caravan possible and one looking for a seat on the trail as well.

i dont have much of a plan other than going.

planning on the PSD and either borrow or rent a hauler.

i think realistically leaving tues.

back homeward sunday.

thats my current spitball plan.


trying to acquire some 30 spline Longs between now and then as well.

Well I might be going... Matter of free time for the trip, money and how bad I want to drive a possibly more damaged cruiser back. We shall see I guess.

I think my plan is essentially to head down Tuesday, leave Ford on the Tahoe side, and drive GB around to the Damn, hopefully before dark..... Wed, it's on!!!! I might have a friend from the Ice coming, but other than that I have seats... 6 in the Ford, and 5 in GB, as long as we don't bring too much stuff..... It's only a 5 day trip! Hehehehe :)
 
I'm not one hundred percent if I'll be able to make this trip or not. But Matt I'd be willing to split cost with you if I can get the time off....
 
Anyone thinking about towing down there (Aric?) Poose has posted up about finding parking on the Tahoe side of the trail. There is room at the trailhead to park, but not a lot, and I don't know about leaving a truck there for 5 days. Might be a legal issue...
