Well this sucks!

Work issues have arisen.

Anybody heading down Caddy on Fri day? If not I might have to miss. (I could but won't wheel alone)

And Dion and Gang, I do apologize I do not think I will make the thurs Wentworth run, this BLOWS.

But hey business comes first.

You're right Michael...:frown:...work comes first, and then we die.

I think they took off yesterday. According to facebook... Not sure of direction but assume they were doing the Mon. drop in from Tahoe. We should know better than to assume with Ross though. :D

Michael
Ryan is droping down Caddy Friday morning. He is going to camp in the staging area Thursday night. He has the white super charged 4 runner that was in Larry's shop. Give Larry a call to see what he can set up.

Yeah, sad to say looks like the shop is going to keep me on a tight chain, not sure if I will make it.

But on the other hand, Mudrak needs to have a pair of CS-9 Shackles picked up from his shop and delivered to him or Andy Hagen on the trail, anybody available to stop by his shop on the way and grab them? PLEASE let m eknow, thanks

I will still try to make the friday drop down if at all possible.

I'm with Michael, work and Disneyland killed the trip for me as well.
Mudrak called yesterday about bringing the shackles, they were at the top of walker, said it was just perfect up there. I imagine he had the regulars with him.
Sux balls but as Mudrak said, as long as you are still breathing it is all gravy.

Mudrak, Jeff, BK, Jeff, Tom Boyd and i went in Tuesday from Loon, stayed at Buck Tues and Wednesday. We met up with Andy, Alvaro and Tom Ferrin, as well as BK's friends Kevin and Aaron and cruised into the Springs Thurs afternoon.

We camped at Dirty Dozen with everyone, seemed like all of PMC was there. Had 28 for the raffle, won by Jeff.

Left this morning with Tony, Jeeper Ron, Dave and Ben at 8:15, got to the staging area at 11

Major casualties that I know about:
Tom Boyd: Busted birf and two tires on Big Sluice
Jeeper Ron: broken Detroit, broken "C"
Yodaman's rig flopped (twice) while he was spotting from the passenger seat.

I think that's it. I'm sure there was more.

Me? Oh. Yeah. Ummmmmmmmm:
Bent sliders, both sides. Rear doors rub
New dents to the previously dented rear qtr
One BFG mtr sliced on new rocks being laid by county
Bent sway bar connect rod
New exhaust noises.
Scratches on driver side during passenger side rock avoidance
Sheared Ham antennae.

Also lost an air hose.

Tim and me out of springs 730 sat .Back to Loon. Took out 1 tire and rolled in side bead on big sluice. Good thing we left early a ton of rigs coming in. Took about
41/2 hours to loon home by 6

Electrical Gremlins plagued Ben and I. Both got worked out with help from Andy, Larry, Jeff and Ross.
Andy had a spare coil/ignitor set up for a 22re that got Ben's truck going again plus the shorting out connectors.

Big Jim, Court and I left camp at 8:15 and were at the lookout in 45 mins. Never saw a vehicle going either way till Miller Lake. Stopped in Truckee for Gas and Subway and pulled into my garage at 4:30. Court took out a valve stem on a root. Big Jim had issues with his compressor and had to cut his belt around Wiliams. I'm sure it was a sight. Those three old cruisers driving down the highway.

here's a couple pics from a bunch of em...
