the peice that is in the 'gutter' from front of rack to windsheild keeps trying to pop up. i try to glue it and clamp it, but then later it pops up again. anyone had this problem? any advice on glu? can dealer fix this? thanks.

I would use a two part epoxy with a longer cure time. Clean the old glue off, and try scuffing both contact surfaces a bit with sand paper. Since that side won't show, it doesn't matter what it looks like.

If you do that correctly and wait well into the dry time, I can't see why it would come loose in the worst of weather. If it does, try Gorilla glue. The only odd thing about that glue is that it expands slightly so don't use a lot or it will pop the piece up or force the glue out.

Try that for $5 rather than even sniffing around the stealership for $80/hr.

I've been using it from years (construction and car) always with complete satisfaction.
rubber on metal, tile on concrete (under water), wood, glass, terracotta...

while dry time, you can clean excedent (try to not have, it's better) with acetone... not with alcool or the sikabond will NEVER become dry
