Was driving down the road when I hit my brakes the right rear rubber line gave out. Anyone know the end sizes ? Is this a dealer item or do the parts houses carry this size?

The fittings are 10mm x 1 and yes, there are many 'Merican vehicles that use them. I used one from a Chrysler mini van....bolts right in.

Thanks Degnol! Crawled under this morning and finally got it out. It was barely touching the muffler on that side and burned a hole in it. Gonna find a little longer one and re route it as soon as the parts house opens this morning.

Well if anyone needs to know, a 2004 KIA Sorento brake line is the same.

i usually end up running braided sleeved stainless lines that i have made at a local hose and hydraulic supply company. they'll build them in any length and the price is reasonalbe; anywhere from $30-40 per brake hose. best part is that they build them while i wait which takes about ten minutes or i can call them ahead of time to let them know what i need and then pick them up later that day.

Didnt measure, but side by side about 1 1/2 longer than stock.What is the length? Glad you scored!

anybody know what i would be looking for to get longer brake lines still...im putting 60 springs under my 40 and plan on pushing the rear axle a fair bit further back (far as i can go i think) and i would really like to avoid the spendy custom lines....they dont bode well with a student budget...

the braided stainless lines are only about $30-35 each. but hey, it's only your brakes.......
well actually they're about $50+ a piece where im at...and yes they are my brakes but how are the standard rubber lines on EVERY vehicle that comes off of any assembly line so inferior that i should pay twice the price to get the blingen stainless lines...its not like im going to take some rubber hose and hose clamp it to the fittings...im looking for a legit line that i can get over the counter at a parts store, whats so wrong with that?
SOR has the braided for $35 and rubber for $59, CCOT has $20 and $32. AZ has for $3o and Kragen/O'Reilly's

This actually blew because of my stupidity. when I ran my duals I couldnt see on top of the muffler and didnt know it was touching the line. Took about a month but it blew. I rerouted this one away from the exhaust. It came from Oriellys and was 13.00 bucks. Didnt have time to order one because this is my DD and I needed to get it back on the road for work monday. Ill probably order stainlees soon. I was just letting anyone know what would fit in case it happend to them and needed one quick.
