I would like to replace the 14 year old foam mattress on my Overcamp RTT.

Has anyone tried using the memory foam as a mattress? I think it would be nice but where to find a piece that is only 3" thick?

should be easy. Costco has/d some mattress toppers in memory foam that were about that thick IIRC. Pretty heavy stuff though.

I had a new mattress I was unhappy with. I found a 4" thick king sized mattress on CL for 25$, from a pop up, and cut into 3 pcs to fit into the tent. They take up a bit of extra room in the trailer, but now it's like sleeping at home.

There are also some Tri-fold matress' available, that fit and have a cover, for around 100$

Give this guy a call, He has cut to size foam in just about every configuration 805 581 6110.

I upgraded my mattress to a nicer foam from this shop:

Bob's Foam Factory, Inc.

They are located in Fremont, CA and have every foam type/size imaginable. They also have the largest band saw I've ever seen to cut the foams to any desired size.

I have no affiliation with them, just stumbled upon them while driving in the area.
