Ignition rod broke while the truck is on. Cannot turn truck off. Any suggestions to turn off the motor without zapping anything?

Thanks!

TM, is that a question or are you telling me that is what I should do?

It's a 100 series, it'll drain the gas soon and just dies on its own.

all joking aside, pull the EFI fuse or remove battery terminal first then disconnect alternator terminal

Thank you both^^^. Pulled the fuse and batt terminal. Hope it will start on the flip side. Here we go!

Odd. The ignition rod was not it. Any ideas / spit balls?

Turns out it was the Ignition rod. Good I had a spare, but with the rod braking off at the tip,it wasn't as easy as some others. The only way to get the broken piece out was to remove the ignition switch (and the dreaded 2 screws that retain it to the assy) and dig out the piece that broke off flush with the switch. Bought a 12" phillips with mag tip and it wasn't as bad as originally thought to get to the 2 screws...
