RTH Key won't come out of ignition

The key will not push in to the lock position so that it can be removed. I have moved steering wheel left and right and shifted from park reverse neutral and drive. Still can't remove key. Suggestions?

It ended up being a defective neutral safety switch. Bypassed it for now a fix for this week.

Where is that switch, and how do you bypass it?
What year is your cruiser (which gearbox)?
