RT Custom FJ62 and Free Cruisercrap!

Too many Land Cruisers and not enough parking at my house, so I've decided to sell the FJ62. This truck is ready to go, The engine, tranny, exhaust
have all been gone thru by Randy at RT Customs in Dallas, and the tranny has been redone as well.

When Randy put in the new engine, he also port and polished it, as well as bored out the Throttle body. The injectors where also replaced, and the exhaust is a Tundra exhaust which sounds great and is very free flowing.

A/C has also been updated and a new compressor installed. The Seats have new SOR tuff duck covers, New Console, wheel skin steering wheel leather, and SOR front and rear carpet floor mats.

The Tires are also new, maybe 2000 miles on them at the most? 31 inch BFG AT.

I seem to remember that the truck has around 215K miles on it - I'll confirm this later tonight.

What are the specs on the engine? When was it installed, how many miles on the truck itself?

I forgot to mention that I went ahead and put a brand new front windshield.

The old was not broken...but it had a few too many chips in it for me.

my daughter is prepared to take my FJ62 soon; so I told myself, when she takes it, I'm hunting for an FJ80 or FZJ80...but, after lookin at yours...I'm tempted to have another FJ62. I have to chk w/ the 1st. wish me luck.

mark - what a great price! any work done to the cooling system? front axle? i am sure it doesnt need it or you would have already done it, just curious. i have a potential buyer for the 80 and I am thinking about getting this and banking the difference.

Yes - the radiator has been replaced. All the hoses are new, new fan clutch, and I only used distilled water and Toyota red antifreeze. If your serious - I can let you drive it for a day..I'll be happy to cruiser around in your FZJ80! How about a strait swap?

Your welcome to come swap cars for the day on Saturday,...it a total different feel from a FZJ80, more like a old school truck...maybe it would fill that void until you get a FJ40.

Maybe I missed it, but is this an 88 with no rear factory shoulder belts? Nice cruiser.

Hey Hank14 - how the heck have you been??

Yes - it does not have the rear belts. But I have confirmed that it does have the proper threaded mounting hole up on the rear pillars. I have pair of brown rear belts that I'll throw in, but they should be grey if you want to match the truck. SOR sells a kit for the rear if you want to add it.
