Landtank, I can see they are striped. Two probs; hurt my back real bad yesterday so can not currently climb into engine bay, and second, they are broke off flush where they enter, so there is no color coded insulation on what is left on the plug end.

Thanks for the glasses thought though, I guess you think of that every time you head to the john eh? :flipoff2: :D

Can you use a wire pick to push at least one whole wire through far enough to see the stripe? Since its already broken, I dont think it matters much if the whole wire and the terminal are pushed out, in fact, it might help with the splicing process anyway. Sorry to hear about your back man, hope it feels better soon!

Thanks Landtank. Appreciate it. The plug has the numbers on it, so it's no big deal with the orientation. Gotta wait till this back gets a tad better in a day or two, then will get to it. I'm so :princess: lol. Thanks though.

Thanks turbocruiser. haven't had a chance to check, but should not be much problem once I can get working on it.

pin 4 R-G Red - Green stripe
pin 5 Y-R Yellow - Red stripe

From what is still attached you should be able to figure out the orientation. This is the plug at the IAC

Thanks again Rick. I actually mapped mine out since the back was feeling better. Plus not sure why your's is different from mine in that I have 6 wires and you have 4. My colors were all different too based on the splicings due to the blower.

Finally got around to fixing this. Hey, never claimed to be ambitious just bitchous :flipoff2:

Was indeed brittle and fried wires leading to the IAC.

Truck now runs as close to normal as I'd expect it too. :D

Thanks for all the help.
