Roundup 2007

Hello,

Wanting to join you for the 2007 Roundup. I'm a displaced Californian in Florida:frown: with a '68 FJ40, need some new dirt to try out. Also a friend from California wants to head that way with his new FJ Cruiser.
I understand Butch Baker is ramrod for the event. Can I get some infomation on where, what I need to bring, etc., etc...

Thanks,
Jerry D.

Here's their site: http://www.katemcyrocks.com/

Weather will be nice, bring typical camping stuff for 3-4 days of moderate weather, although it can get chilly at night that time of year. If it looks like rain, camp will be a mudpit (mixed with cow pies :)). Bring ant killer to sprinkle around your tent footprint.

No electricity, no showers, unimproved campsites, port-a-potties, and kind far from civilization so pack your food/toiletries accordingly.

For wheeling, there is no air on site but you may be able to get someone to air you up if needed. Bring what you would for a trip without convenient/adequate parts/fluid availability.

Bring beer... :)

If you bring a wife or girlfiend (one but not both at the same time) to the event, you could always stay at a Hotel in Brady which is about 10 miles.... I like the idea of having my own shower and toilet....

We now have public showers and have always had some air there. Come on down and hang with us.
