Rough start when hot

my 2000 lc with 200k has trouble starting when it's hot in the middle of the day. Replaced te battery and it seemed fixed for a while but is at it again. Any ideas what would cause this before it goes to the doctor?

Took it to AutoZone and they said the alternator is bad off to the doctor in the am to get replaced.

It was, had Dave throw a new one in and now it runs perfect.

Very happy, can't wait till it cools down so I can start on some of the projects I have for her.
