Started running rough yesterday and throwing check engine light...I am thinking a coil pack, went to autozone get code read but they couldn't read it...thinking of buying a code reader ....Bosch , will this work for a 99 lx470

They should easily be able to read check engine codes. Where are you in BR? I am at work in St. Charles. Maybe I can help as I have a bluetooth code reader in my truck right now.

He hooked it up, but when he read it on the computer it said there were no codes when my check light was definitely on...

Can feel the miss at idle, and when you give it gas as you drive
Try a different Autozone.

You can get a reader off Ebay or Amazon for less than $20 that will work with a smartphone app.

Think I'm going buy a reader , I've got 4 vehicles so will come in handy
Yeah, I can't make it up that way today. I would get something if you have a few odb2 cars anyway.
