My FJ55 is running horribly - incredibly rough. It is idling a bit rough, but when I get her to ~20+ mph, she bucks all over the place. Seems to get a rougher as I get to ~40 mph (not sure above). I had the valves adjusted, carb adjusted (not rebuilt - it is the orginal), changed fuel filter, plugs, wires, distributor cap, rotor (not yet condensor or points). Is it time for a carb rebuild, or other suggestions?
Thanks, dws.

Firing order correct 153624? Verify each wire.

double check valve adjustments. An intake valve that is too tight can allow the combusting gases to travel back into the intake tract and ignite the fuel/air in the intake manifold. this may destroy the secondary diaphragm in the carb, as well as cause other issues.

Thanks

Brett,
Will get her back over to shop to re-double check the valves. Did seem to run smoothly for short period after adjustment (~2 weeks ago), but is now running progressively worse.
Thanks, David.

I did other parts, but don't have gauge (plugs were pregapped). Have appt for tomorrow to do condensor/points and recheck valves. Thanks!
