How is the ride with Rough Country N2.0 shocks? I know the 4” springs are hard (without removing leaf(s)), but what’s the situation of the shocks alone? They are nitrogen charged and should be way better, not so harsh, than previous 2.2 version. N3 is released too, looks about similar except thicker piston rod.
There is quite good reviews about the N2.0, but how they work in FJ40/BJ40/BJ42? Should I change them to Bilstein or Fox straight away before installing them? Easier to get rid of them if they are new, quite hard to sell used shocks. I have the Rough Country 4” springs going under my BJ42.
I have had Bilstein 5100 in my FJ Cruiser, they were ok, but the rear ones leaked every winter at the coldest time. I have driven since with Fox 2.5/2.0 and liked them much.
