haha, love the christmas tree comment, I have the same lights as you!

Engine check light and I got the ABS, The front right sensor is going.

All I have on the beast is the caster plates and they seem to be very sufficient. I havent had an issue for 2+years now on this set up.

Thanks - thats exactly what I was hoping to hear. The spacers just moved up to the top of the mod list:clap:

Great looking truck, I definitely like the liner on the hood...may have to do that to mine when I get a rack on it and some lights. I am sure that helps with any reflection off of the hood. Cheers.

Nice rig. I run the same rack on mine as well. What kind of light brackets are those? Conferr? or another brand? What are the approximate light diameters on the rack?

The ligh brackets are Conferr. The diameter on the lights I believe to be around 5.25 inches. There is plenty of room to go larger if needed.

Very impressive rig...I love the wheel spacers too, keep it up!

nice rig indeed!

so the CHP guy didn't give you a hard time on the rig (mudflaps etc)? :)

So... What is your backspacing with those wheel spacers? 3"?

Im not sure, I guess 3"? sorry about that.

Oh yes, he gave me a hard time about EVERYTHING on the rig....tires sticking out to far, mud flaps, (checked that my CAT. Converter was intact) etc etc. It was a fun time thats forsure.......the crapy part, I was 12 miles from home after going 400 miles round trip!

what about the tires and flaps? did he ticket you for those too?

Fix it ticket for the flaps..............the tires were ok, that is, once the flaps were on!

All I did was put them on, get the ticket signed off then off the flaps came.:D

good looking rig. was it asked if you noticed any increase in engine temps with the lined/vs painted hood?

Thanks for the comp on the rig!

I havent noticed any change in temp with the lined hood. In the summer its 105 or higher and the beast acts and keeps the normal temp like in the past (prior to the line-x) So, its all good!

Nice rig.

I bet you are the talk of Turlock. ;)

Great writeup.

Oh, I dont know how many times I have heard the line "I bet you can take that thing underwater cant you?" At one point, I started telling people I can drive it completely underwater and that the inside stays completely dry........I know, I am a bastard! I only said that once.......I usually talk to the people about the rig, answer questions, etc. Its all good!

nice write up and truck.

as always thanks for contributing.

Sweeeet rig!

Nice rig...can you provide some more information/detail about the Con Fer roof rack? Does not appear to be a standard offering from them (at least from their web site).
size (W x L x H)
Mounts (4.5" or 6" tall)
Light mounts (light cage?)

Thanks
