Wanted Roof supports

Hi,
I need two roof supports for a 1978 55. Not sure which years are similar. The earlier trucks I have seen have welded in supports. My '78 has bolt on supports. Two bolts each side. These supports run side to side and keep the roof panel from flapping in the wind.

Bump.... Has to be some old piggies rusting away with good roof panel supports out there somewhere. Looking for the later bolt in type, see pic.

pm xtremeVA. He is going out to pull parts on a rig. Maybe he could help you out. They are going to probably be welded on though, but you could work around that.

Edit; that rig says it's a 77 so they are probably bolted on as well. At least on the 77 I have they were.

Thanks for the response. I am in touch with him. Keeping my fingers crossed that his truck still has a couple of these. I am waiting to see what he comes up with on Friday before I do anything else.

Cool. I had no idea the later ones were bolt on. I might have to scavenge some for my project.
