Hi everybody. What is the cheapest option to send roof rack rails across the country CA to IL? They are long 95inch x9x7. 19lbs. Ups wants 270$ usps don't take long items.

I’ve paid for these to ship twice (it’s a long story) it was around $125 from a dealer the first time and the same from a pack and ship the second time.

I ran a rate from 90210 to 60614 (Southern Cal to Chicago) and came up with a rate of $97.60 via UPS ground using the weight and dims you provided. I think FedEx Ground or UPS Ground is going to be the cheapest way to go.

Who are you buying from ? I just bought a Front Runner from Metal tech that is a sponcer Vendor on here , think I paid 120 for the rack shipping .

I've checked ups and fedex they quoted me 275$. The exact size is 95x 9.25 x7.5. They rounded this to 95x10x8 even though the ups website ask to roud it to the closest number 9.25 to 9 and 7.5 to 8. I was fighting with both company and nothing.

They round up and if you were driving the truck you would also.

Maybe ship in 2 boxes maybe cheeper? They have some total size rule then the price goes up alot.
