Roof Rack 2000 v. 2003 (1 Viewer)

Hello,
I currently own two LCs. One is a 2000 and the other a 2003.
Recently, I purchased a wrecked 2000 LC and want to place the 2000 roof rack on the 2003. The 2003 shell covers are bogus!
Does anyone know the compatibility of the roof racks? Also, how in the heck does the rubber base on the 2000 roof racks come off? Someone said to move them side to side but I can't make it work.
Any help you be greatly appreciated.

The rack on my '99 LC has 6 posts and 3 cross beams. The rack on my '05 LX has 4 posts and two cross beams. I can't remember if they are positioned differently or if their in the same spot

The 03+ rack has a larger footprint on the outer corners. I'm unsure if the middle foot is different.

LC and LX roof racks are different.

LX rack starts 3-4 inches further back on the roof.
