Roof Gutter and front door upper/ front sills rust repair and paint, FJ60.

Hi all, it's been awhile.
I've already posted this in the Body and Paint forum with no replies yet.

I live about 1.5 hours from the SOCAL/ TJ border near Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton.
As the title suggests, I need the rust cut out, new metal welded in its place and paint.
Can anyone recommend a shop that won't rake me over the coals in either SOCAL OR TJ?
I'll add pics tomorrow of the damage in question.

Socal might be hands down the easiest place in the world to find a shop that'll do the work on it. Some folks have their work done in Mexico for lower labor costs. My guess is you likely won't get out the door for under $6-$8k, depending on the level of repair needed.

Thanks! I mainly just need to scrape out my old gutter sealant and replace it, and repaint. My roof isn't rusty yet, thankfully, but I know what poor seals can lead to.

What can I do in the interim to slow it down, prio to getting professionally repaired? Knock it all off, grind it down, coat with something?

Get some fluid film on it till you can go after those sections with a wire wheel to see what you’re dealing with. I would try to tackle this within one year at least.
