I've started to tear down a '91 3F-E that I'm planning to rebuild. Main failure came from the top end that littered metal sparkles further down into the engine. 453,000 miles with no rebuild, was running well a few months ago. Oil blockage in the rocker arm shaft went unnoticed for a few months (I went back to old photos). #1 rockers had no oil, #2-3 very little, #4-6 seem fine although gunked up. I removed the far rockers (#1 and #6 exhaust) to get a look at the shaft. First photo is the bad one, second is the "good" one (notice the black deposits in the oil holes):

I have some questions, maybe someone has answers:
1. Do you think the shaft and bushings will be salvageable with polishing and cleaning?
2. I've seen another thread about drilling out the plug at the end of the shaft for cleaning - what's the size or part number? Parts diagram doesn't show anything.
3. Does anyone have a source for the rocker arm bushings? All I could find on a quick search was a whole set for $800
4. Does anyone have a shaft? Another expensive and NLA part
5. Does anyone have an entire assembly at a reasonable price?
6. Is the whole unit the same for all 2F/3F/3F-E?
My A-plan is to clean up everything and reuse.
