Went wheeling this weekend there. They have a great assortment of trails. Definitely a short wheel based ORV, as I learned the hard way by almost flopping my 100 a few times. All the trails have bypasses so if your not sure, you can bypass it via easier/gravel trail. You do need sliders and armor. IFS (independent front suspension for those who don't deal with newer rigs, nor work on them) is not the best setup for this ORV as articulation is the #1 factor in the obstacles. Lockers are extremely necessary, my traction systems and ATRAC worked flawlessly and pulled me up and over the rocks and up the hills. Pin striping is guaranteed, and your bumpers will definitely get a little banged up, my ARB and skid plates took a beating there. I had to bypass several of the areas due to not having sliders yet.

I talked to the owner (who thought I was trying to make a joke by bringing such a nice rig there, but soon saw me on 3 wheels going up a hill and lost that smile, now he won't stop talking to me about how brave I am) and he said a group of old Landcruiser came through a few months ago, whether that was the TLCA or GA Cruisers, he was not sure. But I figured I would post up my review and some pictures (if requested) of the area and give it a little review and let you guys know it would be a great place to ride.

It's located in MilledgeVille, GA about 2hrs south of Atlanta. Right by 441 and Lake Sinclair. There is also South Creek, I will run this Friday/Saturday and post up another report/review. Looks more of a mud bogging spot, so I may not run South Creek.

Nick, good to see you went out finally...I am sure your blood pressure went up a bit when you were on 3 wheels. We missed you at the Annual. Lets see some pictures if you have them.

Andrew,

I wish I had made it for the annual, however that weekend was no good as family was intown and wasn't sure about how muddy it was going to be (which ended up not being that muddy in N.GA.:meh:... Next ride I do plan on coming out. I cant upload pictures, only copy the image link from the 100 Series section. I have more of the trail, I just have to figure out why my internet isn't working.

Here they are. Next few posts...

How much did it cost you to ride? Are most weekends open rides? I thought you had to have a group of a certain amount of people to ride there.

I had talked to the owner the week before and he noted my truck doesn't have sliders nor the armor to actually "use" the trails, so this past weekend I drove over and kinda explored at no charge ( I told him if I do start wheeling there more often I'll pay up and have my fun). there was a jeep event that weekend and they all welcomed me and introduced everyone to me and I rode with some great guys. As for my rig and payments, I talked to the owner of RiverRock and he said the club must call to reserve, and its 50$ (seemed high to me, but I don't know what Beasley Knob, Tellico, Moab, or any of those places run) a weekend. Included restroom, and trash service. They had 750 people there a few weekends ago. Which impressed the hell out of me.

You really do like driving on three wheels.

Sid

that's the charm of IFS
