I am looking to put some new shoes on my LJ79 ,it has the stock hight right now looking for a lift in the future ,does any one know the best rim size and off set to run on it ,my be putting 32's on

You could run a 15 or 16in rim.The 16 in have a bigger range of tyres to choose from ,but the 15in are better offroad when aired down
I think the offset is 3.5 inches if its the same as the leaf sprung models

Offset and BS

There a lot of confustion over this and even the tire shop can get it wrong.

Offset is the positive or negative distance (usually mm) of the wheel mounting face from the imaginary centerline. Backspacing is a more practical measure (for clearing callipers and TRE), is the measure from the wheel’s inside lip to the wheel mounting face. Less backspacing pushes the wheel out there. To convert between backspacing and offset, the width of the wheel lip and wheel width (inside bead to bead) must be known.
