I wanted to show the Rhino bumper installed from a recent build we just wrapped up. This was our second Rhino install. Two videos, real short. Hope it helps someone seeing it wrapped up:

1) Rhino bumper installed
2) Semi-custom fold down front plate bracket - (modified Tuffy bracket installed from bottom flip-down)

Head lamp washer in slow motion:

I am assuming that you lose all the stock components prior to installing this bumper?? If so, I have a few questions -

1. What is it made of?? - steel or aluminium?
2. What is the gross weight of the bumper as manufactured including all the install hardware??
3. What is the delta weight gain after removal of stock and getting this on?
4. Will this allow a complete sparing of the stock bumper (instead of the cutting involved in ARB installs, thus saving your stock in case you need to revert to stock)??

To my eyes it looks smashing and panel gaps appear decent. This maybe a good option for those looking for a metal bumper with winch mount capability but do not want to go the full ARB summit + bull bar in the interests of weight savings and gaining in looks / clearance.

There is a version for the pre-facelift 200:

Hi Eric, thanks for sharing. In the video you mentioned you got the bumpers bare metal, did you get them direct from Rhino Australia or Argentina? I was onto Ben in AU and he says they only ship them powder coated and then you have to prep (bead blast?) them Stateside for painting.

Also, did you option for the stainless winch tray?

Thanks, amazing work your team does.

FWIW when my buddy and I brought in our bumpers ~1.5 years ago, they came powder coated, and we had to get them bead blasted before paint. We wanted bare metal, but the options were painted (and the colors they offer are NOT the same as the colors we get in the US) or powdercoated with no option for bare metal. I actually don't mind that in hindsight because it allowed for the bumpers to arrive in great shape and provided a clean slate for us.

Another bumper with exaggerated triangle wings exposing front tires too much.
Can someone make a bumper that looks like a stock bumper but stronger. Jeez not everyone lives or wants to live near Moab or where folks crawl over rocks

Call up Dobinsons. They have a basic front and a rear that literally mimics the plastic bumper. Just what you're after. Don't ask the weight.

That looks fantastic! How long did it take to get?

I've had Rhino's take 6-months and some that take 4-weeks. Just depends where the container is at. I think they are made in China and exported to Australia. Once they are in Melbourne, they take 4-weeks to get to the US

Last month, I actually called Rhino, in Argentina, where they are made. We had a great conversation and they even offered to send me a prototype rear bumper for the 200 so I can test. From what I hear, they are made in Cordoba Argentina. We may be talking about a different Rhino Company.

When I took over helping organize and execute a group buy through Rhino Australia I learned that ordering from Argentina was as cheap even without the discount and they were willing to ship color matched. This was months ago so I don't know if that's still the case.

I would definitely recommend contacting both Rhino Australia AND Argentina to shop prices and what options may or may not be available from each.

When we brought ours in, we purchased directly from Argentina as well, and it appears that is where the products are made. I have one coming tomorrow, so I'll look to see where it was made to confirm this one was also made in Argentina.

Been having one of those days. Had to book flight last night for last minute meeting with customer in Tampa. Backed up on conference calls and trying to pack suitcase while running late to get to airport. Low and behold, open garage door and have this giant box on a pallet sitting in my driveway. No doorbell, no signature, no "bullbat" customs paperwork, no heads up it was arriving today. What a nice surprise. Hauled in to the garage and headed to airport. Wasn't suppose to be here until next week but glad it arrived ;) Even better it arrived with me here as my wife would not be a happy camper dragging in to the garage on her own after coming home from her work. I hadn't broken the news to her about it yet. Just told her that it is to replace the front plastic bumper with something stronger ;) Also glad I grabbed the invoice off the side as it has the pricing in AU dollars which would add to more explaining. Didn't have time to open box as I wanted to take the installation notes with me for the flight. The light bar was back-ordered so it will arrive in another box later on.

This is from the group buy thread. See the pics. This bumper is made in Argentina.

Just installed this Rhino bumper for a 2008 LC200 - but I am having issues with the headlight washers - did anyone have this issue? See pics for alignment of brakes
