No idea how I missed this. Put me down for the next group buy whenever that happens and congrats to everyone who got in. By far the best looking 200 bumper available.

someone else will have to run any future group buys. Or, just order one yourself and pay a smidge more.

I reached out and can confirm ETA to be Feb. 11th. What are your plans for color matching (if you intend to do so) and install? Do you have trusted LC mechanics in the area or will you DIY?
I will get them painted. I've used two body shops in the area but prefer D&V Autobody in Dulles. A little pricier but they do great work, especially paint. Maybe get a few quotes on the paint. I plan to do the install (including winch).

Dang! I missed this. I think I'm up for the next group buy. Just waiting to see some pictures if the process that @Gregtoy144 went through on his LX. I'm a bit of a newb on the welder.

Which winch and may I help? I figure, helping someone else is a good way to learn how to do it myself.

I ordered a Seal Gen2 12.5rs.

Great idea and thanks for the offer to help. We could document the process for the others. I'll PM you.

For anyone who wants one of these but missed out on the group buy, you can contact Rhino in Oz directly and see what they can do for you. If you order from them individually you miss out on the 10% discount but you may be able to get color matched so you don't have to deal with stripping and repainting. That alone would get you quite a bit closer to the price those in group buy are paying. You could also check with Rhino out of Argentina. One chap was working with them on a single bumper and they quoted him a really nice price, not better than the group buy price but pretty similar.

Me too! If I can get a hall pass that is. (-:

Just a thought, check out the CLCC forum here. They have periodic club maintenance whatever days, I think at OTRAMM.

Same here. I had to go on a Land Cruiser/IH8MUD detox after spending way too much time this summer/fall. Just my luck to go dormant during this! But it can wait until a future group or individual buy. Congrats to those who are anxiously awaiting their new bumpers!

Agree with earlier comment about the Kaymar rears. They look really "OEM" (at least relatively). Would be nice to be able to leave the swing arm behind for daily mall crawling. But also hard to get Kaymar in USA, IIRC. [Edit: not hard anymore, see below!]

I just got a strange call from Fedex. Apparently I have to fill out a CBP form 6150 or something like that. They want to know what a "bullbat" is and what it's made out of. Waiting for the email........

“a bullbat is a rare species of Australian bat that I’ve imported as a pet. Please pay me no mind.”

Ok, so it was no big deal. Apparently my order was valued such that I had to file with CBP. It was form CBP 5106. The FedEx lady also needed to know about the bull bar. From the documents she sent me, our bumpers are made in Argentina, shipped to Australia, then to us.

Mine has arrived! (now I just need to buy a 16+ Land Cruiser to put it on)
Been having one of those days. Had to book flight last night for last minute meeting with customer in Tampa. Backed up on conference calls and trying to pack suitcase while running late to get to airport. Low and behold, open garage door and have this giant box on a pallet sitting in my driveway. No doorbell, no signature, no "bullbat" customs paperwork, no heads up it was arriving today. What a nice surprise. Hauled in to the garage and headed to airport. Wasn't suppose to be here until next week but glad it arrived ;) Even better it arrived with me here as my wife would not be a happy camper dragging in to the garage on her own after coming home from her work. I hadn't broken the news to her about it yet. Just told her that it is to replace the front plastic bumper with something stronger ;) Also glad I grabbed the invoice off the side as it has the pricing in AU dollars which would add to more explaining. Didn't have time to open box as I wanted to take the installation notes with me for the flight. The light bar was back-ordered so it will arrive in another box later on.

Mine showed up today as well. According to Michael at Wanderlust, all looks good.

I opted for no light bar w/the bumper, because my Heritage Edition will support a light bar in the grille like in this photo from Eric at Ed Martin Toyota. I'm going with the Rigid Adapt bar.

All,
Just joined this group because my rig is a 2008 LC200. The bumper looks Sick.....
Anybody else want to start a group buy? If not, I will buy one on my own but need to know who to email or call. I am in California.

More pics of the entire bumper installed if you guys have it.

Any info is greatly appreciated!

Tony

Michael will do a great job; he did my ARB on my LX which was a much more difficult job. He had it painted and everything.
