revolver shackles? (1 Viewer)

Does anyone have any insite into the Teraflex revolver shackle?
Do they work? Are they available for a 60?

for boulder work, they are great. For hills, they are not. They tend to unload and make a steep hill "steeper"....

Personally, not a fan, but some people do like them.

They are great for the RTI ramp, and for giving you the feel of "flex" but unless there is spring weight pushing down on the revolvers, they are doing nothing but letting your axle hang... I have several pairs of pull-offs, customers wanted to ditch them due to adverse handling...

If you have the capability to make your own with a lock-down system (a way to pin them in their normal configuration, so they act like a reg. shackle) then I would consider it. Many have made them this way and are satisfied... its really a Ford vs. Chevy thing...

Thanks for you input guys, I think I'll skip using them. I have heard a lot of pros and cons, mostly cons, regarding them but now I'll figure out some other way to get more drop out of a su 60.
