I'm planning on running my Mickey thompson Baja claws tires in reverse rotation o my buggy, Has anyone done that before and got better traction on the rocks, or its just a bad idea?

thanks. Tom

I have a buddy that does that in the snow so that they don't dig but pack snow as he goes. Seemed to work good for him but that was in snow where he wanted to float. I'm not sure about the rock though. You could always try it out.

Apparently having a chevron "V" shaped tread in a tire running backwards on the front of a vehicle has the benefit of pulling your front tires out of a rut as opposed to pulling them back in, and I have not heard any negative feedback in regards to road handling in comparison.

just switched them today. going wheeling this sunday and then whole weekend next week, will see how they work out. its a buggy so it doesn't go on the road
