My family has an 01 cruiser which has treated us very over these past 5 years, however there is one flaw (I don't know if that's the right word) which emerged about 2 years ago when my father bought his new BMW 330 that is equipt with a Nav system. Originally my father thought it was just a pricey "fad" option that wasn't worth the additional dough. Now he is banging his head against the wall that our cruiser doesn't have one. Given the trucks size and comfort I am sure it will come as no surprise to hear that it is the vehicle which we take and trips and therefore would be best suited for a Nav system.
So...Can you retrofit the OEM Nav system into the car? If so, how much might that cost to do. I mentioned to my father that there are plenty of after market system available which I have heard positive reviews. However, my dad likes a nice clean look coupled with the legendary Toyota reliability so he wants OEM.
