Yet I have no doubt that it's possible to spend that on restoring from a rusted state.

I'd think rear reflectors and complete tool kit would be included, not to mention a pristine engine bay, steering wheel, frame paint.
Guess listers put ridiculous prices hoping to elicit offers that may exceed what auction might bring, but for $55k, in my opinion, it would need to be stock with no port installed rust and ~1000 verifiable miles, and even then, don't know that the collector market for Pigs can bear.
