Not seen that. From what I can see, it was a grommet that allowed a vent tube from the box to exit the vehicle footwell wall. Looks like it went around a slightly ? Protruding plastic extrusion for the water to exit outside into the engine bay via the firewall/footwell?
No. It looks like a thru wall grommet. One side is abut 1/2” ID and exit (engine side is about 3/4 ID). I suspect the small side was dealing the drain exit to guide it out into the engine bay. (??)
