Generally, we have great discussions, and moderation is typically light here. We have knowledgeable mods who are regular contributors that I enjoy and learn from.
But I have a question:/request:
Rather than simply ZAPPING threads such as BOTH threads that discussed an article that claimed the current Land Cruise's supposed obsolescence...sending them BOTH to "Chit-Chat" where nearly none of us go, and we don't know people there...and most of them don't drive 200 series Cruisers...-Could you please explain the HARM in leaving such 200 Series-specific discussions in this 200 series forum?
In the last two days, a moderator has zapped them both...without explanation or rationale, despite clear interest and commentary. Well known members posted likes and other commentary.
Can we at least wait for serious complaints and offer some sort of reasoning before just dumping interesting, 200-related threads ?
** I can tell you that AS SOON as it got dumped there? -The quality of discussion went DOWN.
No harm was being done.
Please explain why that level of thread-booting is necessary.
Thanks.
