I really wish I could agree with your statement about the fuel cut-off switch saving my rig. When I retrieved the rig, the switch was in the on position and the thieves jostled the switch free from its bracket. They clearly knew where it was and likely used a worn out Toyota key to get the vehicle moving. I don't think that they used a flatbed. My cut-off switch was well hidden, or so I though, but I think that the thief observed me turning it on at some point. Kill switches are not 100% security it turns out.stoked you got it back... i was about to regurgitate about the Key but your original thread acknowledges this flaw with Toyotas from 70s-80s. Most dudes , not tweakers with a Flatbed take them south... consider yourself lucky and there is a good chance that once they unloaded it and tried to drive it south the fuel pump cutoff switch saved your rig. these kinda of dudes have a flat bed from work, and would be noticed taking them south, so the rigs are driven south, not hauled... good job mate, now move that switch now that we all know where it's located.O
