Glad to hear you have one on the way your old one is crap.

Nat, Why do you hate the pressure bleeder? It's a simple one man job, and low chance of running the MC dry.

because it tried to hurt me:crybaby: just kidding i have never had any luck with them the two man method has just worked better for me plus the only thing i have to fumble around with is a 10mil, not to say others have had better luck

I hope to never do the "brake pedal boogie" pump method of bleeding brakes again. What a PITA, especially if you're working by yourself like I usually do. Wait till you get old and creaky like me, it sucks crawling in and out from under the vehicle a bunch of times.

old like you... hahaha.... i got a pressure bleeder just in case. nat is kinds close by and rally helpful. i hope i get the parts today or tomorrow!

i've had the same deal with my brakes - soft, had to pump them. not a big deal in the woods of vt but driving in ct during a holiday period not soo hot. so my boy spencer in ct hooked me up with a master cylinder but that didn't solve the problem. next he replaced the brake booster and then bled them then replaced a kinked line and bled again. now they're working excellent.

so what did it turn out to be? the booster or the kinked line?
