I hope to never do the "brake pedal boogie" pump method of bleeding brakes again. What a PITA, especially if you're working by yourself like I usually do. Wait till you get old and creaky like me, it sucks crawling in and out from under the vehicle a bunch of times.
i've had the same deal with my brakes - soft, had to pump them. not a big deal in the woods of vt but driving in ct during a holiday period not soo hot. so my boy spencer in ct hooked me up with a master cylinder but that didn't solve the problem. next he replaced the brake booster and then bled them then replaced a kinked line and bled again. now they're working excellent.
