taking my 2018 LX in for its 50k service. When scheduling the service it was recommended that I replace the front struts. wondering if strut replace is part of the 50k service and necessary to do? Also curious what service are due at 50k miles?

What? struts replacement at 50k? did they give you a reason for such a premature replacement?
I'm at 140k on originals. Unless they leak badly there is no need to replace. LX doesn't really have struts or shocks in the traditional sense as AHC is doing all the "valving" work and what you see are just pistons connected to AHC.
And, no, that is not part of mr. T recommended schedule for either light or heavy use of the truck.
For the scheduled maintenance download the warranty manual that has detailed schedule with optional items for heavy use. It should be available free on Lexus owners web site, same place you can check your truck maintenance history.

What he said. I’d bet most LX570s go past 200k miles the original struts without issue.

Obvious money grab on the part of the dealer.

Go to another shop. These rigs don't have struts. For them to recommend new struts at 50k miles without inspection is a big red flag.

+1 - Unless they a leaking or bushings are shot, you don't need to worry about them.

I have 13 lx. My struts started leaking at 125k miles. My ride quality I thought was still fine. I purchased struts, mounts, cushions, and globes. I had them replaced at 170k miles. Ride is a lot better. I don’t off road.

I didn’t know but one of globes was not functioning which led to struts leaking. The independent shop saw it on tech stream. That solved mystery of why my struts were leaking. My fluid level was still fine.
