Couldn't agree more about getting the 20t press. If I did not already have a 12t.. I would have gone and bought the "big boy"! However with what I had.. the method I described made the 12t work okay. No cutting nor burning.. just pushing.. lubing and heating. In the end a very clean bore with no cuts.. chisels marks or galling.
All said.. anybody want to buy a 12t? $149 sounds pretty good and I will soon have a new huge space to work and have 20t presses in! Oh yeah.. maybe I will sell my propane torch too!
