so, I think I am going to have my local Toyota dealership order a new actuator for the rear door lock., it's not unlocking. How hard is this job going to be, has anyone done it? Thanks.

Hold on! You'll probbaly get a much better price from cruiserdan on a new part, and if you're okay with a used part, checkout cruiserparts.net. Either way will save you some $$.

I replaced my right rear one about a year ago. Not really very hard, just a little time consuming until I figured out how to do it. I probably spent 2.5 hours doing it, but think one could do it in about 30-45 minutes if they knew what they were doing the first time.

C-dan sold it to me for about 35% of what local stealership wanted for it.

They quoted me $250 dollars labor also so I did it myself!

I also lubed the other 3 ones while at it, as the original grease was dried out and pretty much gone.
