I just diagnosed my vc being bad in my 94’ fzj-80. Does anyone have a part number for a replacement? Or know of a site that offered used replacements? Thanks.

Most people just throw it in the dumpster and move on. The early models didn't have one. Truck doesn't need it to function.

Oh for sure. I pulled the driveline and it drives fine now so I finally was able to diagnose the weird symptoms. But I’d like to hopefully keep it the way it was factory if at all possible. I’ll probably pull the VC tonight just so I can go camp and stuff still until I source a good VC somewhere.

I have three sitting in the garage. Is there any way to test to see if they are any good? I'd send you one (or all) for the cost of shipping, but I have absolutely no idea if they are good for anything but a paperweight or an anchor.

Dang, why do you have so many? Haha. Let me do a search and see how to test them. That would be awesome. Are you in the US?

I pulled them out of each of the three transfer cases I worked on. I don't need a viscous coupler in my transfer.

Yep, Vermont, USA.

Okay cool. Let me know what you want for them shipped to Boise, Idaho 83713 and I’ll give them a test and try.

No problem. Just pay for the ride. USPS flat rate is probably the way to go. Let's move this to chat to work out details.
