replacement comp. speakers in front of 100

UPDATE:replacement comp. speakers in front of 100

looking to put in mb quart rvf 216 comp. set in the front doors...

how is the tweeter replacement for those that have done it.. do you have pics of the are behind the sail panel.

for those that put in components where did you mount the x-overs.

dang.. nice... very nice!

but a bit over the top for me... just looking to replace the oem stuff.. which i found out yesterday that the previous owner must have blown the stock front woofer because there are some cheap coaxs in the doors now which explain the poor SQ i am getting now

update...

put in the mb quart rvf 216 set.. perfect fit!!! tweeters are the perfect size for the factory spot on the LC100's.

and enuff power from the amp to drive them...

and wow.. what a set of speakers... absolutely the best!!!

can't wait to replace the HU and put in a real amp...

nice. I have JL XR speakers in all my doors and the tweeters fit perfectly in there too. Where did you mount the X-overs?

the x overs are mount just about the kick panels

I used MB Quart in my FJ62 with the stock stereo. It rocked! I’ll bet your system sounds sweet. That’s what I’m going to use when the time comes.

hey where did you get the mb quart speakers and how much did you pay per pair? also did you put the comp. in the back doors too?

I got them at a stereo shop in Austin TX (Audio Dimensions) and they also installed them for me. I forgot the price but remembered it was worth it.

dmx did you put the component speakers in the back doors? or did you just go with a two way speaker (once piece) in the existing speaker location? or did you custom mount the tweeters, and if so where?
